| 1. Remove SIM Card Holder. Open the compartment on the left side of the device by sticking something thin and sturdy into the hole on the side and pressing the button. Pull the tray out and set it to the side. Be careful to not damage or lose the sim card. |
| 2. Unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the phone |
| 3. Insert a prying tool between the screen and the metal backing of the phone at the bottom to remove backing from phone. There will be a thin film connecting the two pieces. You do not need to remove this. Just fold the two pieces apart with the inside facing up. |
| 4. Unscrew the two screws on the silver band at the top of the battery and remove the band. |
| 5. Peel back the silver tape. |
| 6. Disconnect the battery connections. |
| 7. Pry the battery out. There is adhesive that may make this difficult, but use the force necessary. |
| 8. Replace the new battery with new adhesive. |
