Introduction
In order to reach the power supply board, you have to take the entire unit apart. The process is slow; there are several fragile, plastic parts that break easily and cannot be replaced. You also have to be careful to avoid smudging the thermal paste which also must be replaced once you open the unit. If you use the proper tools and work carefully, then you should be able to access the power supply board without damaging the Apple TV.
