This guide goes through how to safely disassemble the ZTE Blade Spark and replace the battery. This device contains electrical components, and the repair should be preformed in a dry environment. Replacing your battery is easy and a great way to give your device a fresh start.

Apply heat evenly on the back cover using the iOpener to soften the adhesive.

Carefully remove the back cover using an opening tool.

Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to carefully remove all fifteen 3.0 mm screws.

Gently remove the SIM card tray.

To remove the inner white panel/cover, use a plastic opening tool to loosen from each side.

Set the inner white panel to the side.

After removing the inner white panel you should see a black panel. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the six 4.0 mm screws.

Remove the black panel, revealing the battery.

Disconnect the tab connecting the battery to the circuit.

Remove the battery from the device.

Place battery off to the side and retrieve new battery.
