Less than 6 months of having this and the RB has to apply more pressure to work. To fix this I have to solder. I won't buy this controller ever again.

Me too. It's hard to believe, but it's true: the Elite 2 controller costs many times more than a regular one. However, its quality doesn't justify the price at all. In short: the price is much higher, and the quality is much lower. Shame on you, Microsoft..."

I keep having issues, I manage to remove the button but there is still solder stuck in the hole so I cannot passthrough a new button... I have used wick, solder pump and reflowing with new solder, nothing works?
Any ideas??

You could try adding more solder and keep it liquid while someone slides the button in from the other side... Not the best idea, but if you're short on options and if it's only one hole having this problem it might work.
