This guide shows users how to replace the screen. By first taking the device apart until they can reach the screen so that they can replace it.

Remove the battery covers and the four batteries.

Remove the four plastic caps with a metal spudger to expose the 6.0 mm Philips JIS #0 case screws.

Remove the eight 6.0 mm JIS #0 case screws.

Using a plastic opening tool, separate the two pieces of the case carefully.

Remove the three 4.0 mm Philips J0 screws holding the "L" shaped brackets in place.

Remove the three "L" shaped brackets and the spring.

Flip the device over and remove the three 4.0 mm Philips J0 case screws.

Separate the front and back of the case.

Remove the 4 (3.4 mm Philips J0) screws holding the screen in

Remove the circuit board from the back of the screen.

Peel the ribbon wire off of the circuit board. Now the screen should be free to remove.

Resolder the new screens ribbon cable on the the circuit board.
