If your backpack/bag tuck lock clasp is broken, missing, or unable to lock your bag, use this guide to replace the tuck lock clasp.
Before using this guide, inspect there is any small buildup or dust at the tuck lock clasp, which may affect use; it can be removed using pointed tweezers or small brush. Be sure to test the tuck lock a few times to make sure it is not stuck.

Locate broken tuck lock clasp.

Grab the broken clasp and flip it so that you can see the heads of the screws.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws.

Place one hand holding on to the strap and another grabbing the clasp.

Pull the strap and clasp away from each other until completely separated.

Push the new clasp onto the strap.

Ensure that the screw holes of the strap and clasp are lined up with each other.

Tighten the screws using a Phillips screwdriver.

Your tuck lock clasp has now been replaced!

Ensure your replacement tuck lock clasp works by inserting the tuck lock clasp into the base plate.
