In this repair guide, we will be showing you how to determine whether or not you will need to buy a new foot pedal replacement for you drum set . Be prepared to unscrew some of the screws on the foot pedal and make sure to keep those screws somewhere safe as you continue following the steps. Keep in mind that you may need to acquire a new foot pedal if need be.

Unplug the coiled wire from back of upper assembly.

Remove foot pedal from base assembly.

Remove the two Phillips size J0 screws holding the cover plate on the top of the foot pedal.

The small sensor is a Magnetic Glass Reed Switch. You will need to unsolder it from the pcb and replace it with a new one.
