Remove the ten 1 mm screws that secure the back cover using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Use plastic opening tool to separate the back cover from the laptop.

Lift and remove the casing.

Gently lift the flap covering the top side of the battery.

Remove the four 0.5 mm screws that hold the battery in using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Unplug the battery from the motherboard.

Use the heat gun to heat the top of the keyboard cover to loosen the adhesive.

Use the spudger to peel up the keyboard cover.

Use the heat gun to apply heat to the track pad and use the metal spudger to remove the track pad.
