If your Swagtron T3 battery is not working, this guide will show you how to replace it. To avoid electric shock, discharge the capacitors using the capacitor discharge tool before making any changes to your Swagtron.

Flip the Swagtron so that the footpads are facing the ground.

Unscrew the sixteen 9.4 mm Phillips #1 machine screws on the side of the Swagtron that is now facing upwards.

Slowly lift the backside cover.

Detach the four cables connected to the cover by pinching the connector clips and pulling the cables out:

Three cables on the motherboard side.

Two red cables with white connectors and one white cable with a white connector.

One yellow cable with a black connector on the battery side.

Unscrew the four 9.4 mm Phillips #1 machine screws attaching the battery to the base of the Swagtron T3.

Detach the two cables connecting the battery to the Swagtron by pinching the connector clips and pulling the cables apart:

One red and black cable with a yellow connector.

One blue cable with a black connector.
My T3 doesn’t have the blue/white wire connection, and the blue/green connection is just sitting there. Any idea if that is what’s causing my issues? (Powers on, but immediately turns off) Can you tell me what the blue/green connection is for? It’s soldered to the circuit board

Swagtron doesn’t sell the silver battery (even if you email them) I bought one from HoverboardRepair.com and it worked. Only difference is the small wire doesn’t come on the new battery but my hoverboard has worked just fine and I replaced the battery months ago.
What did you do with the small wires? Leave unplugged?

For replacement battery, go to swagtron.com/returns and use the chat feature. You’ll need to provide a picture of your current battery so they can confirm specs and then they’ll order one for you and send you an invoice. Pay using the link on the invoice and then they say they ship within 3-5 business days. They quoted me $59.99 but my invoice isn’t here so not sure what shipping will be. Good luck!
