This is a guide to replace your devices surflink port. This is a simple and short guide that doesn't require many tools. You may need to replace the surflink ort if it is unresponsive, but don't worry as this guide will only take a short amount of time.

Remove the rubber cosmetic strip along the outside edge of the back plate with tweezers.

Remove the two rubber feet on the lower case with an opening tool.

Remove the two screws with a T3 Torx screwdriver.

Remove the seven screws securing the lower case with a T3 Torx screwdriver.

Lift the lower case gently and set it above the device.

Disconnect the battery cable by lifting the pull tab until it "clicks."

Remove the left I/O bracket by unscrewing the the three M1109237 screws with your T3 Torx Screwdriver.

Remove the two M1149393 screws that secure the ribbon cable with your T3 Torx screwdriver.

Lightly disconnect the flat-top connector by lifting it straight up with an opening tool.

Remove the two M1149393 screws that secure the Surflink port with your T3 Torx screwdriver.

Lift the surflink port out and up with your tweezers.
The official Microsoft store sells them for about 32 USD under the name "Replacement Surflink Port for Surface Laptop Studio" and 3rd party sellers have them under the phrase, "charging port dock"

Dont even bother reading this unless you already have aquired the surflink port. They are basically impossible to get the parts through ifixit and microsoft. in europe at least.
Is this strip tape or it metal? Is there replacements for it? I habe been trying to find it but I can only find tape as an alternative to this part.

It appears to be thin plastic with an aluminum coating on the outside. It's easy to remove by poking into the corner by the hinge with a set of tweezers-- the tweezers will pass right through.
