Is your old Duo 1010 watch running out of battery? This guide will help you replace it and get your watch back up and running. Note that you'll need to set up your watch again if you remove the battery.
-
-
Remove the 4 Phillips #00 screws from the back
-
The back cover is still held down by the rubber wrist straps, so pull both straps apart while lifting up the cover
-
-
-
-
Press down on the battery with your finger during this step to stop the internals from coming loose.
-
With a pair of tweezers, pull the metal latch away from the plastic clips. You should hear a click and the latch will lift up.
-
-
-
Carefully lift out the old battery
-
Replace with a fresh CR2032 battery, you can find these in most supermarkets
-
Push down on the latch to secure the new battery. Make sure the time is now shown on the watch - if not, remove the battery, wait and try again.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
Make sure the back plate is properly secured and in the right orientation, otherwise the watch won't be water resistant.
