If Robot’s internal battery does not hold a charge, follow this guide to replace the battery. You will need a Size 00 Philips Screwdriver to complete replacement guide.

Set Spin Master Boxer on your workspace so that the bottom panel faces upwards.

Using a Phillips #00 screw driver, unscrew the four 4mm screws in each corner of the bottom panel.

Carefully remove the bottom panel of the Spin Master Boxer by lifting up, away from the main body of robot.

While holding onto the axels of the wheels, gently pull the top panel of the robot away from its body.

Remove the plastic screen from the body of the robot. It should come off easily as it is not attached by anything.

Lift the top panel away from the main body of the robot to expose the yellow battery.

Insert index finger in between battery and plastic shell of robot, and push battery out of the battery holder toward the wire.
Does anyone know the battery specs? It seems to be a 3.7V LiPo but it would be nice to know the mAh rating and size (usually something like 500mAh and 703535) before opening the Boxer so that you can proceed with the replacement after removing the old battery.

The battery is indeed a 3.7v/500 mah lipo battery according to the boxer manual. I bought a replacement Amazon with dimensions to fit in the slot, but after troubleshooting discovered that it was my charging port, not battery that was faulty. I'm looking into resoldering a new port to get him working again.
The charging port is difficult to replace. To be able to put it back you will need to de-solder the PCBs that were soldered together. They are interlocked to each other like a box. It would be so much easier to replace if the charging port was put upside down as you can solder it back without de-soldering the PCBs.
