If your Sony WH-CH700N headphones have pads that are worn or need to be replaced, use this guide to replace them.
When the cover becomes brittle and tears off of your WH-CH700N headphones, the pads need to be replaced as the memory foam is left exposed. Here's how to replace the covers and extend the life of your headphones!
Before beginning, make sure to power off your headphones completely and disconnect from any external power source.

Identify the free edge of the ear pad.

Gently pull the free edge up.

Fully remove the ear pad.

Gently wipe the exposed surface with an alcohol swab or microfiber cloth.

Identify the wider part of the headphone pad.

Find the lip of the leather replacement pad.

Line up the new ear pad with one side of the exposed headphones, wider end towards the top.

Gently stretch one end of the ear pad over one end of the headphone.

Work your way around the ear pad, pulling the leather over the lip.

Repeat on the other side of the headphones.
