Sony DVP-FX730 Cover Replacement

To access the internals of the Sony DVP-FX730, the cover must be removed. If there is a problem with one of the components on the cover, it may need to be replaced. A screwdriver should be used to remove screws and rubber feet to remove the cover successfully.

    • Remove the five exposed 7.9 mm screws using a Phillips screwdriver.

    • Punch through the warranty sticker with the spudger.

    • Remove the screw underneath with the Phillips screwdriver.

    • Remove the rubber feet using the spudger.

    • Remove the screws that were covered by the rubber feet.

    • Hold on to the corners of the cover and gently lift the cover.

    • The tray is still connected to the base with wires.
