If the lens of your Sony Alpha 6000 is damaged, or you want to use a different kind of attachment lens, this guide will help in removing it.

Make sure the camera is turned off by turning the switch to OFF.

Flip the camera around to access the battery compartment.

Slide the battery compartment lock to the left to unlock it.

Locate the blue latch that holds the battery in.

Push the latch back to release battery.

The battery can now be taken out of its compartment.

Press and hold the release button next to the lens on the front of the camera.

While holding the release button, twist the lens counterclockwise and pull it off.
