    • Be careful in handling the belt. If stretched or damaged, the belt can cause the motorized brush to operate incorrectly.

What if just the plastic gear is bad? Where can I find a replacement that will slip on and be attached properly. In many of these units that gear cracks with age, add do the end holders for the brush. I'm not sure where to obtain the proper gear, the number of teeth it has, the size of the gear, or the size of the hole. Help would be greatly appreciated as for a Ten cent part , SHARK ridiculously and very unjustly, wants me to buy a whole new unit for $50 plus shipping, but I can buy a brand-new one at Amazon for $48 . Still both are ridiculous for a $0.10 part. I have seen where I can get plastic gears but I am unsure of the size and how to attach it properly. The old one sweat and the motor spins freely inside the gear.

Thank you. This is my problem. The hole in the plastic gear isn't big enough for the metal rod on the motor. I have no idea, but I would like to find a roller also. I've wathched my husband take out hair from the roller, but maybe a part fell on the floor when i ipened the brush cover. Thank you

Thank you for this! I needed the picture to put it back together after I cleaned it out because it was not spinning. Working perfectly now! I also have an extra new battery if anyone needs it. :)
