Flip the vacuum over.

Remove the bottom wheels with a spudger.

Remove the six screws on the bottom of the roller brush compartment using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Remove the grey cover to reveal the roller compartment.

The pictures look great and were helpful, but the steps failed to mention 4 screws that needed to be taken out and that made the taking apart process difficult. Should be clearer on what screwdrivers to use as well.
