  1.     • Grip the ear pad with one hand and steady the headset on the other.

    • Twist the ear pad counterclockwise, then lift the ear pad off after about an eighth of an inch of the turn.

    • Replace the old ear pad with a new ear pad.

    • Twist the left ear pad counterclockwise to reveal the battery compartment within the headphone.

    • To remove batteries, push inward and lift up.

    • The battery should be able to pop out.

I own three sets and one quit working. As it turns out that the rechargeable batteries in that one set need replacing.

Until I purchase some rechargeable batteries, I am using standard AAA batteries and just have to remember NOT to put the headset back on the cradle.

how do you know when it's time to replace the rechargeable batteries? The headphones work, but begin to buzz after a bit. The buzz makes listening impossible. Is that the batteries?

Be sure to replace the batteries with rechargeables -- not standard alkaline batteries.
