In this guide I will be showing the process of opening up this guitar to clean the contacts on the pickup selector switch. This process will apply to any guitar with a 3 way pickup toggle switch. This guide does not cover guitars with lever type switches.

Never thought of this method. Having the same problem with my son’s Demon 7 so the only solution I could think of was to buy a new switch but I can’t find the exact one. I’ll try this trick instead. Thanks!
This worked great and exactly what I needed to fix my pickup selector switch on my Schector Omen 6. Though this should work for any pickup selector switch I'd think. I was getting intermittent issues and sometimes couldn't get the Bridge position to work at all. I was fearful I'd have to replace, so tried this first, and worked like a charm! Sounds perfect again, no new switch needed. Thank you.
