If your camera is not turning on no matter how many times you charge it, it might be time for a battery replacement. This guide will help you replace your battery.

Place the camera upside down with the lens facing you.

Locate the sliding latch on the right side of the camera and slide the latch to the left side to open up the battery compartment.

Locate the blue release lever holding the battery down. Slide the blue lever to the right to release the battery itself.

The battery will now slide up about an inch allowing the battery to be pulled out of the camera.

Insert the new battery with the arrow on the battery pointing into the camera. The red square indicates the location of the arrow.
