Before replacing, check to see if the battery is fully charged. Make sure the replacement battery is the correct model. The battery should be a BP 125A Rechargeable Li-ion Battery.

    • Locate the battery slot on the underside of the camcorder.

    • Locate the arrow marked on the battery slot door and push in the direction the arrow points to open the latch.

    • Release the latch and allow it to fully open.
