Samsung Gear VR With Controller USB Connector Replacement

If your phone doesn't have a compatible USB port or if the USB connector breaks, use this guide to swap the connector out for a new one. The Samsung Gear VR can hold a USB Type-C or Micro USB. This guide requires no tools.

  1.     • Push the switch on the right-hand side of the device to separate the cover from the main body.

    • Pull the cover away from the main device.
