I just completed a repair on this model and easily removed the display with a combination of heat and 99.9% isopropyl alcohol. 25 minutes on the heat mat at 75 degrees C, use a thin metal pry tool to create an opening, then drip the alcohol using a syringe bottle along the edge and pry with plastic guitar pics. The display comes off relatively easily and intact. I was replacing the charging port, so it was important that the screen remain undamaged. Alcohol and patience are necessities in this type of repair.

I just completed the same repair. I set the tablet out in the sun for about 30 minutes, and that loosened up the adhesive enough that it only took me approx 5 minutes to get the old screen off with damaging it. Careful the tablet will be very warm. A good guide to go by. The only thing that I noticed was that the metal bracket was re-installed upside down.
