Tuning keys are necessary to play a guitar. However, they can sometimes break, especially on old or used guitars. This makes playing the guitar significantly more difficult or, in some cases, impossible. If the tuning keys on your guitar are broken, this guide will help replace them. Specifically, this guide will help you repair and replace tuning keys on an SR 306-12951100 Acoustic Guitar. We will be replacing the old tuning keys with 3x3 plate tuning keys.
This guide assumes you have already removed the strings from the guitar. If you have not, follow Steps 1 and 2 from this guide for instructions.

Thanks!
