Turn off the device completely by holding the power button for 10-20 seconds to force a shutdown.

Remove the seven 4.1 mm screws from the back of the device using a T4 Torx screwdriver.

Gently separate the back cover from the rest of the device.

Remove the ten 2.9 mm screws from the motherboard using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

Use the Jimmy to gently open up the front frame.

Desolder the old USB port carefully using a soldering iron.
