Repairing a hand watch battery would appear to most people to be a hard or complicated process. In this guide, we are demonstrating a SM Santa Marin hand watch battery replacement. When a battery of a watch runs for a couple of years,the battery of the watch becomes weak and eventually dies. We want this process to be easy and fast for users so they can do it themselves with minimizing the cost of money and their time.

Take apart the steel strap for the watch by using the round head (SIM) screwdriver. Then pull out the screw.

Remove four screws from the back cover using the Y000 screwdriver .

Remove the back cover of the watch using the opening tool.

Remove the plastic gasket from on top of the battery using the opening tool.

Loosen the battery bracket from the watch by placing the 1mm flathead screwdriver under and lifting carefully.

Take the old battery out using the plastic opening tool or spudger.
