The keypad is something that is used quite often on a phone when texting or emailing. Due to the constant use of the keypad, the keypad can possibly become worn out.
The process of replacing the keypad is a bit challenging and requires patience and attention to detail. The equipment you are working with is very delicate and if not assembled properly, it will break.

Remove the battery by pressing the battery lock down and slide the battery cover away.

Lift the bottom of the battery and then move it up and away.

Locate the 4 screws holes on the phone and remove them with the #000 Philips Head screwdriver. (See red circles)

Using the plastic opening tool, gently pry open the back piece of the phone.

Simply flick the rectangular connector up from its socket. (Highlighted by the red square)

Use the plastic opening tool to gently pry up the motherboard.

After the connector has been removed you will gently pull off the mother board, which will reveal the rubber keypad.

Replace the faulty keypad, and reassemble the phone.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
