The saw bar component may be broken or worn out if your Ryobi RJ1861V reciprocating saw is having trouble holding the blade firmly, vibrating excessively, or cutting improperly. To remove and replace the saw bar assembly, follow the instructions in this tutorial.
During operation, the blade is held and stabilized by the saw bar assembly. Due to frequent usage, it may eventually loosen, crack, or deteriorate, resulting in subpar performance.
Inspect the assembly and surrounding parts for visible wear, loose screws, or dirt accumulation before proceeding with these instructions. Performance may be temporarily improved by tightening screws or cleaning the area, but if damage is found, replacement is recommended.
To prevent unintentional activation or harm, ensure that you unplug the saw and disconnect it from the power source before starting.
