The following is a simple disassembly guide for the Rival Crock-ette 1 Quart Slow Cooker 3205. Please follow the guide and be cautious when touching the dissembled metal, as it is very sharp and can result in injury.
This disassembly guide can help indicate what parts need to be replaced if anything in the machine is not working correctly.
Before disassembly, fully clean and make sure that the device is unplugged from any power source and is fully cooled down from its last use.
Here, you will simply unscrew the bolt holding the bottom onto the rest of the pot, and then the machine's insides will be visible and ready to be altered.

Using pliers, remove the black rubber cover from the bolt.

With a 3/8" wrench, remove the nut from the bolt.

Remove the cover from the bottom of the machine.

Remove the power cord from the notch on the side.

Pull the side up and away from the base of the machine.

Using pliers, pry the notches on the sides away from the metal and pull until the sides separate.
