If your Ridgid R175RNE pneumatic coil nailer magazine is cracked or is otherwise no longer able to hold nails, then follow this guide to learn how to replace the magazine.
The magazine is what holds the coil of nails prior to them being fired, and is located directly below the firing mechanism.
Caution: Be sure that there are no nails present in the magazine before removing it.

Set the nailer down with the nosepiece facing to the left.

Remove the single 5/32" hex screw that secures the magazine to the lower portion of the handle.

Give the magazine a slight tug to detach it from the upper firing assembly.
