The stock Honda Zoomer suspension isn't the best. If you keep bottoming out while riding or the shock absorber is completely broken or you want to replace it with a better one, these instructions will help you to remove your shock absorber.
A little tip: The Honda Lead 50 or Lead 80 shock absorber is a very good and inexpensive (used) replacement for the original shock absorber. It's a little better cushioned and just a little longer than the original.

Jack up the scooter on the main stand.
-
-
-
Remove the six PH2 Phillips screws securing the air cleaner cover. The screw in the middle holds the air filter itself and can stay on.
-
Remove the air filter and cover.
-
-
-
Loosen the three screws with a 10 mm wrench. The lower screws are the same length, the upper one, which is screwed in from above, is shorter.

-
-
Using a wrench, unscrew the six (three on each side) 12mm bolts and remove the seat and base.
-
-
-
Loosen the top 14mm shock bolt, but do not remove it yet.
-
Loosen the shock's bottom 12mm bolt, but do not remove it yet.
-
-
-
Shim the rear wheel to keep it from lowering once you remove the bolts. Cardboard works just fine.
-
Now completely unscrew the two screws from the previous step.
-
-
-
Pull the shock out of the lower bracket and down.
-
Work the steps in reverse order to reassemble your scooter.
