    • There are four clips inside the A60 -- laid out in a plus sign configuration. There's a notch on the one, you need to find this notch and locate the others.

    • It can be difficult to figure out the angle to do this! It's very steep!

    • You need a tool that's ideally flexible — traditional screwdrivers and spudgers won't work here unfortunately. Mine were these tiny IKEA egg spoons — around 1-1½mm thick, 7cm long, and 5mm wide.

    • You really, really need to get them deep and push a bit. The clips are pretty robust and it took more force than I expected, but maybe that's because I tend to try to be very gentle. Try not to break the clips, obviously. You need to get at least 3 clips at once, and you'll hear a little shifting sound as they move (NOT a breaking sound).

    • Honestly, the IKEA spoons were not great at this because, as you can see, they dug at the plastic. Ideally there'd be a plastic took for this, but the typical plectrums do not match the radial curve of the lamp, and the spudgers are too thick to get inside, and too short to get to the depth of the clip. The clips are in pretty deep!

    • Finally, you just kinda shimmy it free. And then you should be able to access the internal components, or throw the moth outside and clean the diffuser, as in my case.

To put the cap back on, just locate it with the notches on the inside and push, it's quite difficult but it should clip back in.
