Follow these 8 steps in order to successfully replace the heat sink in a Razer Blade Stealth 2016 laptop.
Be sure that the laptop is powered off before beginning.

Use a Torx (T5) screwdriver to remove the eight 3 mm screws on the back case.

Remove the rear cover by prying up lightly starting in one of the corners.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the six screws securing the battery.

Unplug the battery connector from the motherboard.

Remove the battery from the device.

Remove the three 3.38 mm screws from the left fan (this fan should be black).

Carefully lift and remove the left fan.

Repeat steps five and six to remove the silver, right fan.

Remove the four 3.38 mm screws around the black square using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Once the screws are removed, the piece can be gently lifted from the back of the device.
