This guide will show how to replace the LCD screen on the camera. This replacement is useful if the LCD screen has been cracked or has stopped working.

Use a Philips #000 screwdriver to remove the three 2mm screws on the bottom of the LCD screen.

Tilt the LCD screen all the way up and use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the three 4mm screws from the back of the LCD screen.

Use a spudger tool to release the ribbon cable from the ZIF connector.

Gently pry off the screen until the double-sided tape behind the back panel gives in.

The screen is detached and can now be replaced.

These directions do not give enough information. The screed is glued into the frame. The replacement parts do not come with the circuit board.

Did you successfully replace the screen? I took off the screws, and got to the detaching the wire stage but then discovered as you said “the glue”. Any further insight would be appreciated!
