Sometimes it's useful to remove the interior door panels to make some part changes. Here's how to do it.

There are 3 screw covers to remove:

At the top of the door handle
-
The Fiero logo above the lock

Under the handle for opening the door

Simply use a flat screwdriver to "pop" the screw covers.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 5 screws indicated in yellow.

After the 3 of the armrest, it will no longer hold after the door. You can put it aside.

Remove the black-orange latch by pulling it towards you.

Remove the entire black door opener module. Slide it forward to pass the handle.

You may have to detach the door lock buttons, if you have that option.

Detach the panel at the 9 points indicated by yellow arrows.

Either gently pull on the panel, by hand or you can use a prying tool.d

Done! Your interior panel is removed!d

To reassemble your door, follow the instructions in reverse order.
