    • Heat up the solder securing the red wire using a soldering iron.

    • Remove the red wire.

    • Remove the black wire through the same process.

    • Handle a soldering iron with extreme care to avoid serious burns. Work in a well ventilated area to avoid inhaling solder fumes.
