Upon purchase of the trimmer, battery would not be included. Therefore this guide would be of help to replace the battery into the trimmer.

Remove the battery cover by rotating it counter -clockwise and lifting it off.

Tilt the trimmer to the bottom, you will notice the battery housing.

Insert the AA Battery according to the terminals on the Battery housing.

Note the '+' side in the the housing and the '-' side on the cover.

Twist the battery cover housing in a clockwise direction to secure the the battery.

Battery + side goes in first (when battery is inserted correctly, the - side will be facing you).
i prided the negative tab on the cover up to make contact. the trimmer roared to life again!
