Replacing the battery is a fairly simple process. It consists of opening the device and removing the solder holding the battery's wires.

Place the plastic opening tool between the front and rear cover and pry up on each corner of the cover.

Melt the solder on the red and black wires and remove wires.

Peel the battery from the front panel. Be careful not to puncture the battery.

Who can I get to repair this for me?
I just bought a replacement battery from Battery Clerk for my NuVision tablet, and now I can’t find any place that will put it in for me. I even tried Batteries plus Bulbs. They don’t carry batteries for NuVision but they won’t put one in from someplace else either, because of a customer that had one replaced that he bought elsewhere, and it messed up his device, and he blamed Battery Plus Bulbs.

I feel like we should all get nuvisions sent to us. Mine won't charge, it won't turn on, it won't even let me do a reboot. I've had it 2 years and maybe was on it. 3 hours total. No screen damage, no cracks or scrtches anywhere. I got it for my birthday present. I feel like they should replace them when they lose functionality this badly, with just a few usages. It does not look good for them. And my daughter spent her hard earned money for this. Not cool...
My Nuvision is the same; did you ever find out what the problem was? Or replace battery?
