To fix the noisy handheld muscle massager, all you need to do is tighten the loose screw that drives the massage head. This can be done using standard screwdrivers and thread lock

Thread lock can be found at any hardware store.

Twist counter-clockwise very snug. It only moves about 1/4 of an inch - the second picture shows the slide lock slots.

There were actually two rubber plugs covering the screws that I had to work out… Not hard.

Case opens pretty easy but you can see there are two tabs toward the back of the case … if it sticks, a simple pinch might help you open it up.

Surprising how much noise a loose screw can cause.

Where can I buy a gasket, for the Recovery Pro massager, that is worn out? Thank you.

We were unable to twist off the back on Step 2. Going to be returned to Costco since I can't fix it....
I have model 11mg0811 it has no screws on the sides and I it will not twist off ,when it's on it makes a lot of noise,I don't want to return it to COSTCO IS THERE SOMEWHERE I CAN TAKE IT,
I've not found any shops locally that take these for repair. After looking at the pictures for the model 11MG0811 it appears that access to the inner workings is similar to an electronic toothbrush that uses a pinch/lock approach which can be quite a bit tougher.

Would this work on a trigger point impact massage gun?
It's making loud noise
I have 2 trigger point impact massage gun. Now it's about 1 year on one and the other about 6 months.
I use it daily. Both are now making loud noise when using.
It's a very good product except for the noise it's making now.
It wasn't loud at the beginning.
Would your repairs work on this product?
Can't get the rear circular part off, even with a lot of manpower and trying a wrench. We tried prying the case apart as well but it wasn't giving. At this point, the massage gun is chipped and mangled, yet still intact. Couldn't fix it.
*****IF YOU CAN'T REMOVE THE BACK PIECE:***
You may try removing the screws first.
It seems like the version sold by Costco does not have a twisting back piece. If you simply remove the screws found beneath the rubber plugs on either side of the unit, it will open enough to maneuver the back piece off.
