How to replace a cracked or damaged screen.

Using a Phillips #000 screwdriver, remove the three bottom screws connected to the back plate on the bottom of the device.

Remove the screws under the flaps covering the HDMI and mini USB ports.

Lift up the screen, and use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the (6) six screws holding down the underlying metal plate.

Pull back the black switch holding the orange screen ribbon in place, and remove the screen.

Hey, I’m having trouble removing the back plate on step 2. It seems to be stuck on the side opposite the HDMI and USB ports, any tips for removing it? Thanks!
Step 1 seems to mis removal of 2 screws. Check tutorial below:
I am about to replace the lcd screen on my J4 - is the method the same as for the J3? And do I need any adhesive?
