    • Using a Phillips #000 screwdriver, remove the three bottom screws connected to the back plate on the bottom of the device.

    • Remove the screws under the flaps covering the HDMI and mini USB ports.

  2. Nikon 1 J3 LCD Screen Replacement: crwdns2935265:02crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Carefully pry back the back plate.

    • The plastic of the back plate may crack.

  3. Nikon 1 J3 LCD Screen Replacement: crwdns2935265:03crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Lift up the screen, and use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the (6) six screws holding down the underlying metal plate.

  4. Nikon 1 J3 LCD Screen Replacement: crwdns2935265:04crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Pull back the black switch holding the orange screen ribbon in place, and remove the screen.

Hey, I’m having trouble removing the back plate on step 2. It seems to be stuck on the side opposite the HDMI and USB ports, any tips for removing it? Thanks!
