The throttle on an electric bike is important for proper function. When the throttle mode is engaged, the motor provides power, propelling the bike forward, similarly to a motorcycle or electric scooter. Without a working throttle, an electric bike loses important functionality, becoming little more than a regular, pedal-operated bike.
This guide will walk you through the steps to replace the throttle on a 26-inch New Speed electric bike. Make sure that your bike is off and not receiving power before starting.
