Use the screwdriver and unscrew each screw one-by-one placing each screw on the magnetic mat to insure they do not get lost.

Separate each part of the Nerf crossbow.

Check to make sure the plunger is intact and has the the rubber stopper at the end of it.

Also make sure the spring is intact and is not bent.
