    • Lay the Nerf Strongarm on its side, left side facing up.

  2. crwdns2882210:0crwdne2882210:0 crwdns2882211:0crwdne2882211:0

    : step 2, image 1 of 2 : step 2, image 2 of 2

  3. crwdns2882210:0crwdne2882210:0 crwdns2882211:0crwdne2882211:0

    : step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Before removing the cover, make sure to first remove the cover for the cocking mechanism. The top half is freely removable.

    • The other half of the cocking mechanism is connected with a spring which may slide off the blaster. Be advised this is normal but worth watching to avoid damaging the spring.

  4. crwdns2882210:0crwdne2882210:0 crwdns2882211:0crwdne2882211:0

    : step 4, image 1 of 1
    • At this time, remove the blaster cover to reveal its internals.

    • If the blaster is resting on its side, the barrel may shift slightly as it is leaning on itself (seen in the image). This is normal but should be handled with care to keep the blaster together.

  5. crwdns2882210:0crwdne2882210:0 crwdns2882211:0crwdne2882211:0

    : step 5, image 1 of 1

    • Notice, the gray colored piece must be removed first in order for the larger half to be removed.

    • Take care and try not to lose any smaller pieces as you open it up.

    • Remove the spring air compressor component.

  12. crwdns2882210:0crwdne2882210:0 crwdns2882211:0crwdne2882211:0

    : step 12, image 1 of 3 : step 12, image 2 of 3 : step 12, image 3 of 3
    • This is the spring that controls the air compressor. If it is damaged you have found your problem. Replace this spring and the blaster should work.

When I removed the compressor unit I found the little orange plastic needle on the tip was sticking ever so slightly when I pushed on it. I used a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to clean inside, reassembled, and now it works like a charm!

I did everything you said but my blaster still doesn`t work. But all things are still working so nothing is broken. Why does it not work although??
