It seems that material and time alters the ease with which it opens. My bamboo cover, which has been my precious back cover, was very hard to remove. Probably temperature has affected the glue, that glued it on even more. I needed a scalpel to give me leverage enough, since the eject pin wasn't strong enough to pry it open.
