This guide will show you how to replace the screen and the plastic display assembly along with it.

First flip the phone over.

Then find the back release circled in red.

Carefully remove the back using the release.

Lift from the bottom!

Lift the battery from the right side.

After the battery has lifted about a 45 degree angle remove from phone.

Remove all six screws
-
The two top screws here
-
The two middle screws here.
-
And the two bottom screws here, they are covered by plastic pieces that first must be removed with the nylon Spudger.

then carefully lift the front off the phone.

Marked wire will have to be solderd when re-connecting new screen

Speakers are connected to the screen here.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order, soldering wire onto new screen.
