Moosoo XL-618A Belt Replacement

If you are having issues with overall suction from the floor brush it may be a belt issue. Overtime the belt can become loose or broken down. Often they need to be replaced after a lot of use. The belt to the Moosoo XL-618A is a small flexible band that helps spin the floor brush. It also connects the brush to the motor, which makes the brush rotate. Here is a guide to replacing it and fixing it.

    • Remove the eight 11 mm screws on the bottom of the vacuum with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Pull the two hard plastic covers off of the floor brush piece.

    • Remove the 9 mm screw to the motor with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Take the motor and floor brush out of their slot and pull the floor brush off of the motor.

    • This is the perfect opportunity to clean the brush as well.

    • Remove the two 9 mm screws with the Phillips #1 screwdriver and pull the plastic piece off of the motor.

    • Take the plastic piece and pull the belt off of the wheel.
