This is a simple guide on replacing a joystick on a Miadore Classic N64 Controller. If the joystick is out of place or used up, this guide will help you resolve your issue. This guide can also be used if you just want to change the joystick as a design choice.

Unscrew all nine 3.2 mm Phillips #000 screws from the back of the controller.

Remove the back panel of the controller.

Remove the three 3.2 mm Phillips #000 screws holding the motherboard in place.

Remove the three 3.2 mm Phillips #000 screws holding the joystick module in place.

Remove the joystick module.

Remove the joystick by pulling it away from the needle-like object holding it in place.

Replace it with a new or custom joystick.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. If all goes well, the joystick should work good as new.
