This repair may be necessary, as the eyes in the T-Rex can easily break or stop lighting up. In order to begin this repair, all you need is a small JIS #1 screwdriver, wire cutter, LED bulb, and a small pair of tweezers.

Open the jaw of the T-Rex to reveal the screw on the roof of its mouth.

Using a JIS #1 screwdriver, remove the 9.6mm screw.

Using tweezers or wire cutters for tension, remove the cover to reveal the LED assembly.

Remove the plastic cover from the top of the LED.

Hold the LED to remove slack from the wires, and cut the wires as shown to remove the faulty LED.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Use a soldering station to solder new LED onto the fresh-cut wires.
