    • Slide the cover open to get to the battery

    • Pull the sticker inside of the battery box slowly: the glue is pretty strong and the space is tight. A butter knife works alright. You need to remove enough of the sticker to get to the bottom of the battery box.

    • The little screw is approximately there (it occurred to me I should write a guide only after I closed the mouse).

    • Gently pull apart the top and the bottom at this stage with some care to avoid breaking the internal plastic.
