Replace a worn out switch on your mouse.

Flip over the mouse, removing the battery cover, USB receiver, and single Phillips 0 screw.

Lift off the top cover of the mouse. No cables hold it in place.

The board is held in place with several plastic clips. Use a spudger to gently push the clip next to the battery compartment. The board should raise slightly.

Lift the board out of the mouse, towards the back of the mouse (note the clips in front).

Keep track of the power switch, as it may fall out when you remove the board. If it does, note the position of the on/off switch on the board and replace the switch.

Desolder the 3 points of each switch as needed (upper and lower left solder points in photo).

Solder the new switch into place, and reinsert the board.

Ensure all three clips hold the board in place, that the power switch is installed correctly, and the battery holder is inserted in the cavity at each end of the compartment.
